At Urganch innovatsion universiteti, a roundtable discussion was organized for part-time students within the framework of the month dedicated to combating the spread of drug addiction and psychotropic substances among youth.
The event featured speeches by the Rector’s Advisor G’. Matsapayev, the Head of the Department for Youth Affairs, Spirituality and Enlightenment X. Davletov, and Prevention Inspector, Major M. Berdiyev. They discussed effective measures to prevent the spread of drug addiction and psychotropic substances.
Particular attention was given to promoting a healthy lifestyle, strengthening preventive work among the population—especially youth—applying legal measures, combating the illegal circulation of psychotropic substances, and building social immunity against this harmful phenomenon. The importance of constant parent-child communication in preventing addiction was also emphasized.
Indeed, preventing drug addiction and psychotropic substance abuse requires a comprehensive approach. The combination of preventive (spiritual and educational) efforts and strict legal measures helps effectively reduce the spread of this social problem.
