At Urganch innovatsion universiteti, a roundtable discussion was organized under the themes “Against Ignorance – Through Enlightenment!” and “The Priority of Human Dignity and Rights – The Foundation of Development.”

The event featured speeches by Deputy Governor of Khorezm Region R. Sobitov, Chief Specialist of the Committee on Religious Affairs in Urgench O. Vaisov, Rector’s Advisor G’. Matsapayev, Head of the Department for Youth Affairs, Spirituality and Enlightenment X. Davletov, and Prevention Inspector, Major M. Berdiyev.

Speakers emphasized that loyalty and devotion to one’s homeland are the highest expressions of patriotism. Protecting, loving, and honoring the Motherland requires great moral courage. They also noted that ignorance directed against spirituality leads to negligence and indifference, and that constant vigilance is essential to avoid such negative tendencies.

It was stressed that a nation with strong spirituality, firm beliefs, and deep respect for national values cannot be defeated by any force. Young people were encouraged to read more, remain knowledgeable, and not stay indifferent to ongoing social processes.

The words of Shavkat Mirziyoyev were also quoted, highlighting that spirituality and enlightenment are matters of patriotism and conscience, and that serving the people and the Motherland wholeheartedly reflects true moral values.
