A festive event dedicated to the 36th anniversary of granting the Uzbek language the status of the state language was held at Urganch Innovative University.
The event began with the performance of the National Anthem of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
After that, the ceremony was opened by Madamin Jumaboyevich Ishmuratov, Rector of Urganch Innovative University, Academician of the Turon Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Philology.
In his speech, he emphasized that October 21 holds special significance as the Day of Respect for our Mother Tongue, which symbolizes our national culture and spirituality. The Uzbek language is an invaluable treasure that reflects the historical values, intellect, and spiritual heritage of our people. He noted that the high status of the state language obliges each of us to contribute to its development and further refinement.
Professors and teachers of the university, who selflessly contribute to the development of the Uzbek language, also took the floor and sincerely congratulated everyone on the holiday!
